theWebMonkey has been working UTV Media with since their entry into the UK Radio marketplace.
We also worked with their predessesors at 'The Wireless Group' and before that 'The Radio Partnership' on what were at the time, emerging web technologies in a climate when budgets were incredibly tight following the 'Boom and Bust' period of the late 1990s/early millenium.
We've come from being a web design service to just a couple of stations - to offering the group a compete web design / hosting and e-marketing solutions. We also provide print design and video animation loops for some stations in the group.
We've been able to bring in new revenue generating ideas to fruition quickly - we were able to setup a dedicated voucher store for 107.6 Juice FM within a week of it's conception - http://shop.juicefm.com
We've recently formed a brand new sister company - www.rightjobsgroup.com - to work closely with the UTV stations on a massive recruitment partnership to increase revenues and traffic to our existing portfoilio of sites.
The group also enjoy the use of a dedicated support system - meaning that jobs are ticketed and completed by our staff keeping a log of progress and accountability for both parties. Communication is simplified so that we can respond to station requirements in a simple, yet customised way.
It's no secret that we've evolved alongside our radio station partners - because we love the radio industry and more importantly, we understand it better than most!
We've won awards - a Radio Academy Promotion & Marketing Award For 'Best Use Of Online' for our work with Juice FM on 'JuiceTube' - a unique station branded video solution and also a prestigious Archiva Radio Award - amazing achievements in a competitive industry. We will continue to look at new ideas on new platforms, and introduce them to the stations when suitable for them and on their budget.
The current station websites have been online in their current form for over 3 years now... and we're about to bring them right up to date. The current templates have done a fantastic job - but we've been working for some time on a range of concepts for the group to bring them up to speed, whilst keeping in mind the current economic climate and the need to keep costs down by looking at even more new revenue generation ideas, and ways in which we can ease the financial burden on the group.
We're now working with UTV Media to provide them with an exciting new look for their UK ILR Web Portfolio, along with developing the custom built CMS we've built especially for use with Radio Stations called 'Mi-Loader' to provide the control stations require of their site, in a way in which station staff can use without comprehensive training.
Here's some of the portfolio of sites we look after for UTV Media
